It is SUPERBOWL weekend.

This SUPERBOWL matches the favored New England Patriots against the underdog Philadelphia Eagles.

The halftime show features Justin Timberlake.

Will you be watching the big SUPERBOWL game?
Do you only watch the halftime?
Do you have any SUPERBOWL traditions?
Do you not watch at all?

Explain.

  1. personally, I am not a fan of football. I won't be watching the Super Bowl. I will sometimes inly watch for the halftime, like last year's lady gaga. I tuned in to watch her performance, then I turned off and went to bed. my family does have traditions because my brother and mom are huge fans while my dad and I aren't. my mom and brother usually invite friends over and buy yummy snacks. I, on the other hand, sit in my room and watch other things.even though I don't watch it, it still seems like an awesome event and id love to eventually see it when I understand it.

  2. On some occasions I watch the halftime but the only time I ever got interested in football was when my family and I ( excluding my mom) went to buffalo to see the game of the bills and broncos and my brother is a huge fan of the broncos. I never watch the game for football because I could be spending that time more productively and do things that I enjoy. Also, HOW IN THE WORLD DID THE PATRIOTS MAKE IT TO THE SUPER BOWL?!?!?! Ok, I might of asked a few questions about football to my brothers when we were watching the buffalo's and broncos game. I suppose my brother will be temporarily rooting for the Eagles this weekend.

  3. To be honest, I’ve never really been a football fan. Although, this year I started watching football and it’s not all that bad! So, this year we’re having friends over for Superbowl Sunday. We’re going to make delicious food and watch the game! I’m really excited for this weekend because on top of the football I really like watching the halftime show. The performances are always good and I can’t wait to see what Justin Timberlake does! Personally, I’m rooting for the Patriots. I think they’re a strong team that always makes comebacks. Plus, I really like Tom Brady!

  4. I am a football fan but I do not enjoy watching people play the sport when I could just go outside and play it myself. Since my mother is a first generation immigrant we do not partake in american traditions. So I do not have plans for the Super Bowl weekend unless one of my friends invites me. If I ended up going I'd just be dancing to music by myself since I would get no amusement from watching it. Also who's ready for a spam of super bowl Snapchat stories... woot woot.

  5. Football doesn’t really interest me. Some may disagree with me when I say this but I don’t think you need a lot of brains (smarts) to play. Although, I do think that your quarterback has to be smart. My family does not watch the whole Super Bowl game. We normally just watch the last five minutes which ends up lasting an hour. The last five minutes are always the most interesting! I am not a huge Justin Timberlake fan so I don’t think I’ll be watching the halftime show either. But, my brother is a big Patriots fan so I’m rooting for them!

  6. Each year we always go to my cousins house to watch the Superbowl and the whole family comes and its a huge fest, there's a ton of food and a ton of people. Its super fun too, we normally vote for the patriots because we are a wussy's and we are afraid of loosing bets and we just want to stay safe. We normally take a break and halftime and miss it because I don't want to see lip signing for 30 minutes straight, we just go outside to the park and get a call when the game restarts. I didn't go to this family event, not until I got into football so we started going and it is much fun. So yes I will be watching the Superbowl game and it is going to be fire.

  7. I'm going to my cousins house on Sunday night to watch the superbowl. I personally don't know the first thing about the superbowl but my family is interested in it. I have to admit, the only part I live for is the halftime. I kind of find that lately the people that perform at the halftime show are irrelevant. I don't mean that in a mean way; I just find that they should have more hyped celebrities perform. I'm mostly excited to spend time with my family though. That's the best part. I'm so excited! I wonder who's going to win.

  8. I dont watch the super bowl. I dont really like the game concept. I generally don't like any games with 2 scoring nets at both sides like hockey, basketball, soccer and football. They all generally have the layout and they seem to be the same just going back and fourth trying to avoid the other team. I'm also that big of a fan of justim timberlake, a few songs are decent but other than that nah. I don't really have a reason to watch it, much rather use my time elsewhere.

  9. I honestly don’t care for the Superbowl, or really any sports at all. Whenever we do something for the Superbowl, the only reason I even come upstairs is to go get food. We normally have chicken wings or whatever, and chips, so it’s good. My mom always tries to show me the halftime show, but I couldn’t care less sadly. Really just not into big thing like this in general.

  10. I learnt what the Superbowl was 2 years ago. I'm not that big of a fan of football and just don't get excited watching sports. Not enough happens in my opinion. I do like all the halftime performances which are always really well done and funny. I don't have a problem with Justin timber lake just not my style but i wanna know how he handles the Superbowl. Hopefully it turnes out to be a good show and to the people who watch the Superbowl I hope they have a great time.

  11. I really don't ever watch the super bowl. Football is one of the few sports I just don't like watching. I find it gets so boring to watch. I sometimes just watch the halftime show because it is alwasy really cool. It must be fun to actually go to the game though, because of all the shows, but I just have never understood the point of football. I won't be watching it this year because I'm not really a fan of Justin Timberlake.

  12. I usually never watch the entire game when its the Superbowl. since its on Sunday i usually have a game and by the time i get back its already in the 4 quarter. so i would tend to watch the last minutes of the game to see who wins. i dont watch the half time shows and i dont see the point. ive watched a minute of the Katy Perry one and it was pretty bad. its the same thing as a concert just in a football stadium.

  13. I love the Super Bowl. It's the only time I watch football during the year. My cousins come over for the Super Bowl and there's always so much food. I think that the halftime show is the only part that doesn't interest me. I am very into the game and when it is cut off by a concert, I want to keep watching. I am very excited to watch the Super Bowl and I am rooting for the Patriots!

  14. I never really watched the super bowl. I wasn't fond of it and it never interested me. I liked more watching other people play video games, because I can't get it or I look at books that catches my curiosity. looking at the Superbowl wasn't really interesting. I actually like fantasy like stuff or things that aren't possible.

  15. I love watching football, though I may not seem like the type to be into football. I try to watch most of the season. I definitely watch the super bowl though. My uncle normally comes over, my dad, my uncle and I watch the whole thing. I always enjoy the halftime show too. We don't really have any traditions or anything aside from getting together with my uncle.

  16. I love the super bowl. I don't really watch the football season but i love watching the super bowl. Ever since i was younger, we had the tradition that my dad and his friends, along with my uncles and grandfather would all come over and watch the super bowl at our house. My mom always makes so much food that one of my dad's friend always jokes that when he enters our house, he leaves 5 sizes bigger. Unfortunately since we moved, we haven't really had people over for the super bowl cause we live a lot further away so its difficult but we still facetime during the game. I also love watching the halftime show cause its always pretty cool and interesting, hopefully justin timberlake does good this year

  17. My family was never been big on football. I still don't understand how the game works but I'm obsessed with two football shows so I consider myself a fan lol! I've never had a super bowl party but it seems really fun and I'd love to start watching football and make the Super Bowl a tradition for me. But first, I'm going to need to learn the sport. I also really don't like Justin Timberlake so I won't be watching the half time.

  18. I have been to a Super Bowl Party once in my life. I liked all the enthusiasm in the room, but I didn’t understand the game even if I tried to very hard. Sometimes I would tune in for the halftime show, but it really depended on who it was. I watched the Katy Perry one, but I decide to skip the Lady Gaga show. I will most DEFINITELY be watching Justin Timberlake, for I was hoping to go to his concert but it’s sold out. My family has pretty much ignored he super bowl because we aren’t really into football. Call me up at Wimbledon though, me and my mom get into screaming matches about whether a serve should be considered freethrown!

  19. I don't really like any of the big and popular sports like football, basketball, and hockey. Never really watched an entire Superbowl either, nor can I remember seeing any half time shows. Bottom line, as someone who just prefers to stay inside and watch anime and play video games with friends, the Superbowl has never been my thing, and I don't think it ever will be.

  20. I watched the Superbowl game, even though I never watch football. I don't really like football, nor do I understand it, but I watched it because I was bored. The only real reason I watched the game was to see/hope that Tom Brady would lose. I don't like Tom Brady solely for the facts that he cheated and that he is super cocky, a trait in people I DESPISE. I usually only enjoy the halftime show but this year was kind of suck-ish compared to last year's halftime. Mostly because last year had Queen B and Bruno Mars, who are AMAZING singers. I'm not really a fan of Justin Timberlake, I don't like his style of singing. Also the way he set up the stage was kind of stupid because for the majority of the show, he was walking around. My family and I don't have traditions for the Superbowl. Other people might strongly disagree with me when I say this but football is stupid. Say what you will, but it's my opinion and I'm entitled to my opinion. Also I don't care what you think.
