Happy Birthday to ME, Happy Birthday to ME!

At some point this week it will be (or it was) my 41st birthday.

What is your BEST birthday memory?
Why was it memorable?

Explain.

  1. Happy birth day, happy belated birthday or happy early birthday Mr. Katz. Anyway I haven't had a birthday party for the past few year so and the ones i did have when i was younger i cant remember what happened. Also when its my birthday i either just hangout with my friends or just treat it as if its just another day. Plus whenever family come over to celebrate my birthday its usually very boring and useless. If i had to choose a memorable birthday it would be in 2015 when i was turning 12. that year i invited a ton of my friends to Sky tag which is a trampoline park. I had a great time with my friends in a really fun place. there was dodgeball, basket ball, little hills to jump on a place where you jump into a foam cube pit. it was so fun jumping around and having a good time.

    2. Sky tag is always fun Tomasso, no matter what age. Now you aren't invited to Sky tag for my 21 birthday. Good blog though.

  2. Happy early birthday/belated birthday Mr Katz! I don't really have a "favorite" birthday because I either do something big or something very small. I usually have 2 parties, one with family and one with friends. With family, everyone comes over, for lunch/dinner and we talk for hours, I open my presents, the adults stay upstairs and talk and my cousins and I go downstairs and play video games. With friends, we'll either go swimming and then watch movies or have a sleepover or they'll come over for lunch, then we'll talk until it's time for cake and presents. Some people say that when it's their birthday, they feel older but for me, it doesn't feel any different.

  3. Before I even start this blog, Happy (Belated) Birthday Mr.Katz! Hope you have an amazing day! I can't really think of one birthday that was the best because each one was equally as memorable. If I had to choose one I think it would be my 8th birthday. I had it at the rink and it was very fun. It was funny because I didn't know how to skate meanwhile my parents hosted the party at a rink. The people I invited just so happened be hockey players so they were skating circles around me, on my birthday. It was still very fun and I won't be forgetting about it any time soon.

  4. happy to be or not to be birthday! anyway, my most memorable birthday I assume will be this year, actually. I'm planning on going to a really nice restaurant with some of my closest friends. I'm inviting maybe 20 people and were going to Monza on st john's. theres people coming who I haven't seen in a while because they go to different schools, but I'm really exited to see them. also, I'm inviting my closet friends from st Thomas and around my neighbourhood! I'm so excited to see how this turns out!!

  5. Happy birthday Mr.Katz!! My favourite birthday memory... I would say it was my last birthday, which was my 15th birthday. I went to bed early, but my brother's best friend Ryan woke us up at 12:00am because he wanted to be the first person to say happy birthday to us. He bought us Ben and Jerrys and by 4:00am we biked to the near by lake and watched the sunrise. It was really quiet and peaceful. It was so unexpected but a really cool experience. It's amazing how something so pretty happens everyday, wether people take the time to see it or not. It was nice appreciating something so simple and beautiful with people I care a lot about.

  6. Happy birthday! My favourite birthday memory was last year. I was actually in the car driving from Osoyoos, BC to Calgary to fly back home so we celebrated early. Although I didn't get any actual gifts like in a bag or wrapped, my family spoiled me. My grandparents treated us to a 2 hour horse back riding trip through the only desert in Canada. I love horseback riding and I haven't gone in a while so it was so fun. We went through the water, uphill, down hill. My parents also treated my brother and I to a jet ski ride. It was so much fun because I love the water and boats and jet skies. It was so much fun and it made us want to buy one for our cottage. Although I had to visit many vineyards and I cannot drink wine legally since I'm underage, it was so fun and it had amazing weather.

  7. First off Happy Birthday! Second of all my best birthday memory was my fifteenth birthday, simply because I had my close friends come over, got a lot of money, and we just partied. But what made the party so good was the laughs that came out of it. Also our 18 year old friend had a little too much to drink that night so he was all over the place which made the night so much better. We did all sorts of things. I also had a dinner with other friends in celebration which was by far the best part of it all.

  8. Happy Birthday! My favourite birthday memory was probably my 12th birthday. I guess it is because that was the time I celebrated it the most. First off I celebrated it with my friends and I had so many people over and it was a lot of fun. The second party was with my dad's side of the family. The third was with all my family friends and their kids and the fourth was with my mom's side of the family. So as you can see I celebrated my birthday a lot that year with so many people who are important to me and it was a lot of fun!

    1. Am I the only one who didn't say happy birthday in my blog? And also, that's a lot of birthday parties. In my 13th birthday I got 4 birthday cakes. Great blog.

  9. My best birthday party was in grade 3 when I went to an indoor mini put. At that party, I had invited almost 15 kids in my class and brought my family along as well (duh). We spend a lot of time chatting and laughing and the birthday cake was huge as well as the birthday card where everyone got to write a funny joke and they were all hilarious. We played mini put for around 3 hours and by the end I was exhausted.

  10. Happy early birthday Sir!! I don’t really have a most memorable birthday experience. My birthday is June 9th so for the past 2 years, I’ve had exams on my birthday which sucks:( During my earlier years of elementary school (kindergarten to grade 3), I would invite my whole class to my house for a pool party. As I got older, I began to invite my close friends to my birthday parties. Nowadays, I am not a fan of having birthday parties for myself so I normally just invite a few of my friends to dinner with me. I much prefer throwing birthday parties for my friends!!

  11. Happy early or late birthday Mr. Katz. I don't really have a amazing birthday memory, since I'm not really into birthday parties. my favorite birthdays have been when I just go shopping with friends after school or just being with my best friend. if I had to pick it would probably be last year was one of my best birthdays. my friends and I were just at my house and had a cake fight instead of eating is so fun and silly until we had to clean up. i really just enjoy being with friend on my birthday and not doing anything special.

  12. Happy birthday Mr. Katz!! I’m not sure if I have a favourite birthday, because I have fun every year, but if i picked one it would be my grade 5 birthday. I am really lucky and one of my friends and I share the same birthday, so we did a party together. We did this murder mystery dinner thing at her mom’s art studio and it was really fun. Another fun birthday was when I invited a lot of friends to my summer pool, because my birthday is in the summer, and we had a giant water balloon fight.

  13. happy birthday Mr.Katz. My best birthday memory was probably my 11th birthday. All of my best friends came over to my house. i had my birthday party in august instead of on my actual birthday which is September 9th. I wanted it in august because i didn't want it when school started. So my best friends came over and we went in my pool and and we played a lot of games because my backyard was huge. After we set up a tent in my backyard that can fit like 20 people and it was just like 8 of us. It was a lot of fun and i think it was my last birthday that i had in that house. It was a great birthday and i'll never forget it.

  14. I think I had this question asked toward me once, oh yeah, in my french class, wait, what. So basically I just have to repeat it again. It was when I had my first birthday party. When my birthday passe by, we usually have a cake and celebrate. We don't host birthdays. that also mean that that birthday party was my last birthday party. I got a lot of gifts and did lot of fun activities. I had my birthday party at YMCA, it was also the last time I went there too, I think...

  15. One of the only tines I celebrated my birthday was when I was 9. I remember us having a massive birthday party at my house. i invited a bunch of close friends. My sister organized a bunch of games for us to play. My dad also brought home like 5 boxes of pizza and we had a crazy ton of left overs. Back then, Life was so much fun and I got to be friends with all these people and invite them to my house. Sucks that most of them moved away and it was the last time we celebrated my birthday. It's the last time I really had fun with all these friends before most of them moved. But, it was ton of fun and it's memory I always call back to.

  16. I dont really celebrate birthday parties much but I had one. This one was cool and really fun. I had an inflated water slide in my backyard which was pretty much my favorite thing in the summer. We just played around, with nerf guns and on the slide. We then had a cake my mom made, it was a police car and looked visually pleasing. Of course it tasted good too. Gud times :)

  18. My best Birthday memory was from when I was very young. My parents took a group of my friends and I to Build-a-Bear and we each made a bear. Afterwards, we all ate at a restaurant and I opened all of my gifts! This Birthday was my most memorable one because I made my favorite Teddy Bear! This bear is so special to me because I’ve had it since I was so young and I used to bring it with me everywhere I went.

  19. My most memorable birthday is the only one I decided not to do much. I had a couple friends out to a low-key dinner and it ended up having the most fun. We laughed and laughed, but I don't even remember what we were laughing about, just that I was happy. We ended up going to my house after, watching stupid movies, not sleeping and just talking about things that were unimportant. I'm pretty sad about the fact that I'm no longer really close with those people but its one of the only times that I remember having no worries and being utterly blissful, literally not having a care in the world

  20. ive had a couple birthday parties and all of them were good but im not really a party type of person so i always never really liked them. I hated having people come over when i was younger for my birthday cause it was so many kids and even though they were my friends, i hated having them in my room and eating my cake. I would have to say that this year, when it was my birthday, my friends knew i didnt want to do much and i just wanted to hang out at walmart and call it a day but they threw a small surprise party which was nice and pretty memorable cause it was fun. To be honest, i dont really like 'birthdays' in general because your just celebrating someone getting older and getting closer and closer to the day they die which isnt really something people look forward to. Anyhoo, happy birthday mr katz

  21. I want to talk about my worst birthday memory. It all started when I turned 12 years old. I had invited over 20 people but hey all denied except for my best friend Charles because he is the best and Olivier. We went to the movies but it turned out that the movie was out of theatres so we couldn't watch it, we then decided to see another movie but it was too late. It was really embarrassing because I felt like I wasted their time with my crappy birthday party. But I got a trip to Mexico so that makes up for that.
