  1. Raymond, Kirsten and I are almost done our mockumentary. it's 10 seconds to long but i can fix that in no time with editing. All we need to complete now is the story board but that won't take much time. Our main challenge for the mockumentary was to get my cat to actually participate in the video. In the shots you see, we had to take at least 10 minutes each because of my cat. I'm not sure about my partners but I'm super exited to show my mockumentary in class because, to me, it's the funniest thing I've made.

    4. Not to be rude but I'm suprised that you're suprised. It only took us 3 hours to film and edit.

  3. Ky is my partner for the mockumentary. We are yet to make our storyboard and the mockumentary itself but we will be working on that very shortly meaning in the next week or so. The only challenges that we have is to get around is my schedule. I have a practice nearly every single day so the days are very limited. I am really looking forward to watching all the other mockumentaries to see what other students are capable of.

  4. Our mockumentary is about Mingji, Olivier and I making fun of the lights used by the firefighters. We will be promoting our new and improved in every way lighters that they should be using. So far we haven't done anything so so far it's going very well. Although that means we have a lot of work to do in the upcoming days. But it shouldn't take too long to film everything we need. Some challenges I think we'll have to overcome is getting together at a time where no one is busy. Also figuring out how to make the mockumentary as long as it should be. I'm pretty excited to see how everyone else put together their mockumentaries and what they decided to mock.

  5. So our mockumentary is about Parlor Walls. So like me telling you all what my project is specifically about is going to ruin the surprise. I have a lot left to complete due to the fact that my partner was in Stratford last week and she got vaccines done today during the class time we got to work on the project. Before this, we got like maybe 10 to 15 minutes to work on it. However, we are planning to get together, most likely this weekend as well as next weekend. We kind of sort of have our treatment/plan thingy done in a way I guess. So we have everything else left to do. Some challenges that we've faced is finding time to actually work on the project and get stuff done. Yes I am looking forward to watching other projects. However I really am not looking forward to everyone else watching my own project let alone watch it myself because that's just ew no. So other than all that life is great.

  6. For our mockumentary Cassandra, Dylan and are are making a video on the vintage hound vs. the hound deluxe. We will be using my dog and Cassandra’s dog to play the roles of the hounds. We have good ideas so our project is going good so far. Although, we have lots of work to get done since some of us were absent throughout the the last two weeks. The main challenge we will have to overcome is getting our dogs to cooperate. I hope that our dogs are able to do what we need them to do and we get our video done quickly. I am looking forward to watching all of the other videos because I’ve heard about some of the other groups videos and I can’t wait to see them!

  7. I am working with Melissa for the mockumentary project. So far, we haven’t gotten a lot done since I was in stratford last week, and I missed yesterday’s class because of vaccines. We had an idea at first, but we didn’t exactly know how to go through with it. We changed our idea very recently, so we now are restarting. Our project is about ten ways/places to hide books. We are getting together on sunday to film it.

  8. I am doing the mockumentary project with Giulia. So far it has been going great. We are almost done and only have to film and edit it. We had to change our idea completely since lots of people were doing the hound and it would have been less original if we did the hound like a lot of people in our class. I'm looking forward to seeing others projects since I haven't really asked anyone about their video.

  9. I am working with Samantha and Olivia. We haven't started the filming process yet but we have a good idea of what we are doing for the project. We had multiple ideas that we wanted to make, and we wanted to do them all. We ended up finding a way to combine most of the ideas and right now we are trying to figure out the story board. The hardest things we had and will have to overcome is finding the idea we will do and figuring out when and where we will film.

  10. Jenna, Dylan and I are in a group. Or mockumentaries about comparing the vintage hound to the new deluxe hound. our project is going very well so far, saying that we have barely anything done. We’re struggling to find a date where we can all meet and complete our project. Because it’s about dogs, we’re gonna have to bring our dogs over to somebody’s house and complete it like that. I think the main challenge will be getting our dogs to cooperate. I’m very excited to look at others projects because this is such a creative project and I would like to see how other people would interpret it.

  11. Tomassa is my partner for this project and boy oh boy am I excited to get started on this one because last time I did a video project with Tomasso, everyone laughed because I tend to have a bit of humor when it comes to making videos because if I wasn't funny, no one would like my projects plus already classes are boring enough, why not brighten peoples day up with a small dose of Ky humor. We will be forwarding toward the fireman recruitment and a day in the life and a comedic based movie so guys, look forward to that.

  12. Me, Will and Minji's project is barely even started, we are doing a flamethrower commercial showing the newest way to burn your problems away. We have done nothing except planing but and one of the problems we will face is finding a skunk to shoot at and not get sprayed. I am looking forward to looking at the other's videos because they must be entertaining.

  13. I think that we are doing pretty well in our mockumentary. We are making some pretty good progress in our mockumentary if we could tongue at this pace I think that we would be able to complete it with a lot of time to spare. What we have done so far is we made the whole story line and we have a date when we are going to film together. I’m very happy with the partners that I have gotten because they are both friends of mine. all we have left to do is the filming and then we are done. I am not looking forward to watching other people’s projects because that means that we will have to show ours to the class and trust me when I say I’m at terrible actor.

  14. Our project is full of excitement. It's a project about the hound. We used Owen's two dogs Sammy and Pacer. Owen is the narrator and he's also a customer pleased with the hound. The main gimmick is that we have a USB that makes the hound more dangerous. W e did a fake commercial for the hound with three easy payement of 600$. We used a lot of music aswell. In conclusion Our project is a ton of hound. we have tacky humour and funny music. We have cheesy lines but it's always fun to laugh at.

  15. So, I am working with Muhammad and Michael. Let’s just say that when you want to get work done, you have to be the one to start it. Our Mockumentary is a commercial-ish video of us selling a USB, that enhances the hounds ability. So far, our project is going very well. We have basically finished everything - we are just missing Michael part of the movie, which is being finished this weekend. We haven’t had really any problems except for the fact that Michael was celebrating Thanksgiving on the day we got together, but I think that was for the best as we were probably able to get more work done. In groups of 3, we may have gotten distracted. I am really looking forward to watching the projects, but even more seeing other’ reactions to our video.

  16. Samantha, Erika and I are in a group. We have not started filming yet but we will soon. Earlier this week we had many different ideas of what we wanted to do but today we decided what we wanted to do. We will be doing the day in the life of a fireman. I find this will be fun and there are a lot of things you can do with the life of a fireman. It will be the day that the fireman get to burn books and we will see how it goes.

  17. I think our documentary is going well. We did ours on the hound and the things he does but we exaggerated it a bit. So far we are on track and everything is up to date. we are working very fast and we have finished our storyline which means that the only thing left to do is make the video. we have not ran into any challenge yet and we have our plan on when we are going get together to film. i am excited to see other peoples presentation and i don't know how i feel about mine.

  18. I am really excited to complete and watch my groups mockumentary. I am with Lauren and Mackenzie. We work very well together and we all have different ideas which we can put together. Our creative ideas are going to be very original and they will stand out from everyone else's ideas. Our mockumentary is based on Millie’s life. The things that we have left to do are film, edit and then make our reflection. We are planning on filming on thursday during our Ped Day. The biggest challenge we are going to face is not making the mockumentary too long. I am super excited to see what the other groups have come up with for their mockumentary!

  19. Will, Olivier and my mockumentary is about us being salesmen in an ad on TV for our parody of the flamethrower from Fahrenheit 451. We still have a long way to go but we have a really good idea of what we're going to do. We're going to hopefully start filming soon because we know exactly what we want it to look like. In our commercial we will be burning paper and other stuff with our DIY flamethrower. We're going to buy hairspray and a lighter from the dollar store and it going to be our makeshift flamethrower. Overall I'm very excited to see how our video turns out to look like.

  20. I am working with Raymond and Jonathan. In our mockumentary, we are showing the new and improved Hound. However, the Hound is slightly different. Instead of the Hound, it's the Hound-Cat. The main struggle for the video was getting Jonathan's cat to actually cooperate with us. His cat cooperated once we gave her treats. Our mockumentary is hilarious. The one thing left to do is the storyboard, which will be done in a bit. I can't wait to show our mockumentary to the class.

  21. I'm working with Bailey and Michael, we haven't really got much progress done so far but hopefully it will change. We've got a basic rundown of what we plan on doing so hopefully we'll start filming soon. We're basing our mockumentary off of the hound we may be using Michael's dog. Looking forward to seeing how creative other people are :D

  23. For this project, I've been working with Kassandra and Jenna. So far, we have the main concept, the treatment and at least a few docs with our main ideas for each scene. We also have a list of everything we need to edit in, like music, voiceovers, the smash cuts in between and such. The biggest challenge we'll need to overcome is thew problem of finding the time to edit all together in a group. I look forward to seeing where this project ges, it's going to be a very interesting mockumentary.

  24. Our mocumentary is based on the hound in Fahrenheit 451. It has the same job. However, the hound is so different, unique and incomparable that it received its own name "the hound cat 2.0". The only problem in the production is that the cat will run away and hide. It was kind of hard to find her. We calmed her by grooming her and giving her a bit of catnip. Then we chased her again for some extra scene.

  25. I’m honestly so excited about this project. Me and Holly and Lauren talked about it today and I’m so hyped! For our video, I’m gonna be the star; Millie. I find Millie a really interesting and mysterious character in Farenheight 451. I’m really really good at technology stuff and editing videos so I’m excited to ace that part. A challenge I’m gonna face in this is finding a time for us to all get together and film. My schedule is pretty packed these days. I’m certain we’ll figure something out. I’m so excited for the class where we’re gonna watch all the videos. It’s going to be so fun and funny.

  26. I am doing the mockumentary project with Danielle and so far it's been going great. Our project is going to be like an add promoting the firemen job. We were originally going to do the project about the hound but many people also wanted to do the hound so we decided to change our script to make it original. We are almost finished the project, we only have to film and edit and then we're done. I am a little nervous about our project because in our minds, it looks perfect, the video is spectacular, the script is funny and totally expresses the message that we are trying to send but I hope it will be visible to the rest of the class. I can't wait to look at other people's projects but I am a little nervous about sharing ours cause it may be really good or really bad. (hopefully goood)

  27. “Our English project’s gonna be SooOOoO cool!” exclaims Owen as I’m about to say hi this morning.
Being able to do the assignment with close friends makes the overall experience far better; I get to look forward to meeting up with them to do it, rather than dreading the day I have to leave to someone’s house who I’m never going to speak to after the assignment’s done. Owen and I are putting some inside jokes into the project so we’re pretty excited to present the final version to the class; all that’s left to do is to record my parts this weekend and add them into the video.
